Justin holds a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, and a master’s degree in sociology. He is certified in substance abuse disorders and LGBT-affirmative psychotherapy. Justin has worked with personality disorders, mood disorders, trauma, dual diagnosis, and client’s in-crisis in a variety of settings, including crisis shelters, community clinics, and schools. He has presented his research on gender, sexuality, bibliotherapy, and relationship quality in conferences around the country. He specializes in integrating aspects of poetry, art, music, and play into a feminist-experiential model of therapy.
