Anise began working in the field of recovery in 2017. She is seeking to obtain her drug and alcohol-counseling certificate after she completes the Addictive Disorder Studies Program at Oxnard College. Anise earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is motivated to continue on to either complete a Masters or Doctorate Degree and become a clinician. She was drawn toward the field as a result of watching family and friends in the throes of their disease find recovery and overcome their addictions. Watching clients begin to grow and change during their time in treatment, to see them get better and make positive changes in their lives, to work toward long term sobriety ignites a passion in Anise. She finds it very rewarding to be a part of such a personal journey and hopes to make a positive impact in their self exploration towards quality of life in recovery.
