Creative Care sits on a hillside in Malibu overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Our private treatment center provides a tranquil and serene haven for people who are in need of treatment for substances and coexisting conditions. Creative Care, Inc. offers an environment that preserves the privacy, dignity and respect of the clients with whom we treat.

Our highly trained group of professionals work together to create a treatment plan based on the specific needs of the individual - with Individual Therapy and 12 Step Counseling up to five times per week and group therapy up to five hours per day. This allows us to help our clients change addictive behavior patterns. Together, we can address the underlying causes and effects. By discovering the "why" of these behaviors, we significantly reduce the chances that a client will relapse chemically and emotionally.

Creative Care specializes in the treatment of Dual Diagnosis; these individuals suffer from Alcoholism/Drug Addiction and other conditions, such as: Mood Disorders, including Depression and Bipolar Disorder; Anxiety Disorders including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; Trauma; as well as Personality Disorders. Our expertise in Dual Diagnosis allows us to treat individuals who are dealing with more than one diagnosis. Clients who have been through multiple treatment facilities do well at Creative Care due to the integration of treating both addiction and psychological conditions simultaneously.

When a client admits to Creative Care, they are first assessed for the level of care appropriate to their individual needs. Clients are then assigned to one of five unique residences, each with a stunning ocean view. This process allows our clinical care staff to create an optimal and intimate setting that is clinically appropriate. For example, clients who are detoxing or who have acute psychiatric conditions may need the one to one supervision ratio that our acute house provides. Stabilized clients are moved to a gender specific house, which in turn leads to our more transitional living house where clients earn even more freedom.

Our holistic multi-modality approach includes Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, and structured Group Therapies. Our treatment team, along with the client, will develop a treatment plan addressing the individual's needs. Creative Care believes in the proven effectiveness of the 12-step program philosophy, combined with other modalities, which include:
