Creative Care holds the opinion that the current low rate of alcohol/drug and dual diagnosis treatment success is a consequence of traditional treatment which does not typically address coexisting conditions. At Creative Care we understand that an individual must be treated for all of the ailments of mind, body and soul simultaneously, or relapse may be inevitable.

Traditional 28 day programs are not able to fully address the wide range of psychological problems complicated by addiction. These programs are usually geared toward detoxification and twelve step education. Statistics show that recovery outcomes are directly related to length of stay in a residential type of setting. Creative Care is a sixty to ninety day program with a minimum stay of thirty days.

Treatment for dual diagnosis must include interventions that fully address the underlying issues of addiction. We will provide you with mental, emotional and physical resources so that you can live a more purposeful life free from substances and self-destructive behavioral patterns.

While you are in recovery, it is essential that you have support of the people in your life who matter to you. Alcoholism, addiction and dual diagnosis affects your family members, friends, co-workers, etc. We will assist you in understanding and improving the relationships that are meaningful in your life. We will also educate and support your loved ones through this process so that they can better support you when you go home.

Treatment of alcoholism, addiction and coexisting disorders is complex and it can vary with each individual's life story. A treatment center that does not attempt to uncover and resolve the underlying issues of these disorders will inevitably fail to treat you in the way that you deserve.
