Drs. Morteza and Karen Khaleghi began CREATIVE CARE, INC. in 1989 in order to help individuals who are dually diagnosed; with addiction and emotional issues. Their guiding principle is that each person be treated in a caring manner that addresses the individual needs and issues.Those who come to Creative Care will be treated by staff with the highest level of clinical knowledge and expertise. Drs. Khaleghi pride themselves on having a treatment program based on an integration of psychodynamic theory and the 12 step principles of treating addiction and emotional problems.

Creative Care is one of the first programs to treat the dually diagnosed individual. The Khaleghi's belief is that the most effective way to help people with addiction is to view them as a whole person and to look at the emotional issues that lead to and surround the addiction.
